| Texas CHL License Renewal and Utah CFP Schedule |

The Texas CHL Renewal and Utah CFP classes are taught together. You can renew your Texas CHL and get a Utah CFP in one class! $70 Class Fee for either Texas CHL Renewal or Utah CFP. $100 for both. Please READ THIS Before Requesting a Utah CFP Class! To insure that you get your new license before your old one expires, you should schedule your renewal class at least 90 days before your birthday. You can renew an expired license up to 1 year after the expiration date. If you wait longer than 1 year, you will be required to take the full 10 hour New License class and pay the full $140 fee to the DPS.

PLEASE NOTE: Effective May 10, 2011, Utah will not issue a permit to a non-resident who does not also have a permit from their home state. A Texas resident MUST have a Texas CHL to get a non-resident Utah CFP. Effective January 1, 2012, you will not be able to renew a Utah non-resident permit unless you have a permit from your state of residence. |
